POSITION SUMMARYOur rapidly expanding team is seeking a Patient Care Advocate with experience in the complex model of financial-based assistance. Advocates will handle the financial assistance process from submission to approval. Responsibilities will include thoroughly compiling information, responding to questions from subscribers regarding their high-cost medications and facilitating and guiding the subscriber through the various options available to them. Jobseekers should be excellent multitaskers who can work both independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Strong customer service skills and an eye for detail are also vital in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Make sure closing dates and company deadlines are met by following up on loan documentation in a timely manner
- Acquire the files necessary for property and loan documentation, including the following: verification of employment, evidence of insurance, payoffs, tax transcripts, credit supplements, condo questionnaires, subordination requests, and title work to assure a smooth loan process
- Oversee all loans coming through the pipeline to ensure the process is compliant and efficient
- Update loan documentation in our system on a regular basis to ensure we have detailed records of the entire loan process
- Communicate with the borrower throughout the loan process
- 2+ years PBM or similar industry experience.
- High school diploma, advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Shared perspective on prioritizing the needs of patients.
- Current or previous experience as a processor, case worker, advocate, customer service, and/or coordinator.
- Exceptional attention to detail, must be organized with excellent time management skills.
