PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of industrial packaging products in Carol Stream, IL. 

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for 2nd shift 

We are now hiring Maintenance Technicians who are team players, versatile, and dependable

Pay Rate: $32.50 per hour 

2nd shift 1:30pm-10pm 

**MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT FOR 6-8 WEEKS 6am-2:30pm**

Maintenance Technician Summary 

  • Electrical/Electronic Repairs

  • Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, minor programming e.g., upload/download programs to PLC.

  • Experience and strong skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining:

  • Machine drive systems {VFD's)

  • Temperature controls thermocouples (RTD, J, K) and SSR's.

  • 3-phase electrical system, motors, breakers, starters, and overloads

  • Electrical Basic Knowledge

  • Experienced with conduit and wire sizing.

  • Ability to use Digital MultiMeter, Amp Probe, Manometer

Maintenance Technician Requirements 

  • Ability to work with PCs.

  • Use of the internet to identify parts, equipment.

  • Use of software for communication

  • Use of reporting and inventory software

  • Physical ability to maneuver in confined areas.

Additional Information

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as injection molding machine tech

  • Electrical experience and troubleshooting ability, must be able to read electrical prints.

  • Hydraulic experience and trouble shooting ability, must be able to read hydraulic prints.

  • Must be able to read and decipher mechanical drawings

  • Able to perform machine and equipment PM and detailed record keeping of such activities.

  • Must have your own tools.

  • Must possess a driver's license and a vehicle. (Occasional driving is required)

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to make Precision measurements with hand tools.

  • Able to source and spec out supplies and parts for machine repair and keep detailed records
