The Lumper will perform various warehouse duties requiring knowledge of warehouse process and procedures. Duties will be assigned in accordance with warehouse procedures and may include unloading, loading, sorting, shrinkwrapping, and other general warehouse duties. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for sku numbers, defects, and reporting damages as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties :
Loading, unloading, sorting, and palletizing merchandise.
Moving merchandise manually from one location to another
Performs processing activities as assigned
Maintain inventory of products
Inspect products for damages; report as needed
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
Unload and appropriately sort and palletize ncoming products
Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
Requirements & Qualifications :
Proven work experience in a warehouse setting (2+ years preferred)
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
Good working knowledge of warehouse procedures
Solid communication skills and inventory skills
Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
Ability to work efficiently in a general warehouse environment
Ability to understand and follow general instructions
Ability to pay close attention to detail
