Description of Duties

• Responsible for the creation of an electronic file for each quote. The file contains the following: Cover Sheet, BOM, Labor Sheets, and list of all the tooling required for a specific job.
• Send RFQs to vendors for material pricing on all jobs quoted.
• Fill in costs obtained from vendors on the BOM
• Find and develop vendors that can fulfill our required product mix
• Signing off on the Quote Tracking spreadsheet
• Be able to perform any of the job duties of the Quote Administrator
• Give engineering support to the Program Manager
• Give engineering support to customers to customers in the development of products, design reviews, material specifications, process specifications, VAVE
• Give support to the Program Manager
• Give engineering support to EEH, clarifying all concerns regarding prints, QBOM, and overall customer requirements
• Support the Quality Engineer in the analysis and resolution of quality concerns of the customer and in the manufacturing plant

Performance Measurables

• On Time vs Later customer quote time
• Quote Manager overall satisfaction with engineering support
• Overall team and customer satisfaction of program launches

Ideal Candidate:

• Associate's Degree or higher
• Work well in team environment
• Work well with multiple departments across the company
• Have auto industry knowledge and/or experience
