Are you looking to work in a collaborative environment with a customer service and data entry background? Team US Advisors is seeking experienced administrative professionals to support a Federal government client on-site in Calexico, California. This is a great opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced operational environment supporting a vital mission.

Your Responsibilities (not limited to the following):

  • Greet and check in individuals; determine individual needs and ensure check-in process is performed in a timely manner to prevent back up of individuals waiting.

  • Prepare administrative documentation under the supervision of Government Personnel and maintain processing documents for individuals in law enforcement custody, including reports related to transportation of those individuals to and from various locations. 

  • Log information into Government and other systems about the status of individuals including data regarding welfare conditions. 

  • Assist with storing and tracking of personal property on-site. 

  • Witness administrative procedures conducted by law enforcement officers. 

  • Distrubute food to individuals, and stock inventory of basic needs such as food, clothing, blankets, bedding, supplies and medication, etc. Must have ability to operate a motor vehicle. 

  • Update, review, and mail/upload Government forms as directed, including case processing forms, validation forms, and biometric data. 

  • Communicate with the public by phone, email, and mail. 

  • Accepting both full time (preferred) and part time personnel

Requirements

- Personnel should have a working knowledge of office software and be familiar with the use of online databases.

- This location requires staff to be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

- Staff must have strong communication skills to interact with the public and answer inquiries and meet minimum education/experience requirements as outlined below.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have lived in the U.S. for 3 consecutive years out of the last 5 years. 

  • Minimum education – High School diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university preferred.

  • General experience – 3 years of experience in an office setting with substantial customer interface. 

  • Possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software and programs quickly for data entry functions. A typing test may be administered as part of the interview process. 

  • Must have a valid Driver's License. 

  • Applicants selected will be subject to an extensive Federal government background investigation and must meet all security eligibility requirements and obtain a security clearance (sponsored by employer).
