Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Plastics Assembler to become an integral part of our team You will perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform specific inspection of product as per the router/process guide
  • Visual inspection of the operation you are working on along with ensuring that rejects are not passed on
  • Accurate data collection on/in routers, QAD (or similar ERP system), daily production tickets
  • Weigh/count parts to ensure accurate counting
  • Hand assembly of small components
  • Cutting, measuring, and inspection of parts
  • Use of magnifying glass to inspect parts
  • Verify equipment/tools/materials used per work order/process guide
  • Ensure the quality of the product meets the specifications listed on the router
  • Understand and follow the SOP’s pertaining to the specific area
  • Understand and follow the Work Instructions pertaining to the specific area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0-3 years of related experience
  • Read and comprehend procedures, drawings, and specifications
  • Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Familiarity with personal computers
