Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Plastics Assembler to become an integral part of our team You will perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specific inspection of product as per the router/process guide
- Visual inspection of the operation you are working on along with ensuring that rejects are not passed on
- Accurate data collection on/in routers, QAD (or similar ERP system), daily production tickets
- Weigh/count parts to ensure accurate counting
- Hand assembly of small components
- Cutting, measuring, and inspection of parts
- Use of magnifying glass to inspect parts
- Verify equipment/tools/materials used per work order/process guide
- Ensure the quality of the product meets the specifications listed on the router
- Understand and follow the SOP’s pertaining to the specific area
- Understand and follow the Work Instructions pertaining to the specific area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
- High School diploma or GED
- 0-3 years of related experience
- Read and comprehend procedures, drawings, and specifications
- Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Familiarity with personal computers
