What we're looking for: A full-time Cosmetic Chemist or Formulator to work in our formulation department with experience formulating Skin, Hair, Pet, Oral, and Personal Care products.

Job Duties:

  • Formulate, research, test, stabilize, troubleshoot, validate specifications
  • Develop batches from scratch; and improve upon and scale up existing batches.
  • Work with current team on improving equipment and capabilities of the lab on-site and the quality control procedures performed in it.
  • Assist in resolving product sample, production or process problems
  • Make new products from scratch
  • Reverse engineer existing products to make them even better

Must Have's:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the development and manufacturing of personal care products.
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills. Display a sense of urgency and initiative with creativity and flexibility.
  • Experience in the personal care or household care liquids industry a big plus
  • good computer skills, google drive, excel, etc.
  • Excellent communication and time management skill

This is an on-site position so if you do not live within driving distance of Woodstock, this probably is not the right fit for you.
