Earn up to $1,000 completion bonus once you are hired on by the property and meet qualifications. Attendance must be 100% for complete bonus.

Students are required to complete:

• A total of 48 hours of in-class training where the learn the basics of interior and exterior maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, and much more.
• A minimum of 96 hours of the apprenticeship at a real apartment community in the greater Denver Metro Area; some apartment communities offer up to 32 hours of work per week. Students will be paired with an established maintenance professional to get hands-on training while making $19/hr.

Job Duties

• Assist in completing apartment turns, work orders generated from resident request for maintenance, as well as routine upkeep on the property.
• Assist in making repairs in accordance with the established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, common area, and amenities.
• Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and team members with respect.
• Maintains open lines of communication.

Program Requirements

• The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S..
• The candidate must be 18 years or older.
• The candidate must pass a background and drug screen before beginning the program.
• The candidate must commit to attending class from 8AM-5PM on Fridays during the 6-week program .
• The candidate must commit to working up to 32 hours Mon-Thurs between hours of 8AM - 5PM during the 6-week program.
• ***** Students will be assigned be assigned to a participating apartment community that is closest to their residence for the apprenticeship on first-come, first-served basis.
• The candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work inside and outside in all-weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $19.00 per hour
