The Sr. Acquisition Analyst is a self- starter who will provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting the Program’s success. This individual will work closely with the client to implement, track, and provide feedback regarding relevant DoD acquisition guidance and policy. The successful candidate will be delivering meaningful acquisition support.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the client in all phases of pre-award contracts, task orders and agreements
• Create, review and advise on Acquisition Strategies (AS) and Acquisition Plans (AP), including contracting and risk mitigation approaches, options, contracting strategies, contracting methods,     

   competition, cost estimation, milestone schedule development, etc.
• Support the creation (including development of draft content), review and editing of the following documentation to include but not limited to Statements of Work (SOWs)/Performance Work

   Statements (PWS), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE),Market Research Report (MRR), Justification & Approvals (J&As), Limited Source

   Justifications and other acquisition documentation
• Track contract deliverables and milestones
• Assist the client in performing quality assurance surveillance functions and support
• Maintain a centralized file of all appropriate and required COR actions and agreements
• Assist with the preparation of periodic COR reports for each supported contract, and generates special reports, including IAAs, when necessary
• Maintain a centralized file of all appropriate and required acquisition documents
• Assist with the planning and development of acquisition-based guides, templates, and instructions on preparing required contracting documents as needed
• Assist with developing procurement SOPs
• Maintain contract log for all contracts, task orders etc.
• Conduct analytical studies on best procurement practices
• Other duties as assigned


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree 12 years of experience developing procurement packages in support of the Federal Government, with specific

   experience in contracting and/or acquisitions
• DAWIA Level III Program Management or Contracting (preferred)
• Superior written and oral communication skills

CLEARANCE:

  • TS/SCI (active)


PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
• Onsite five days per week with the possibility of a hybrid schedule in the future
