Job DescriptionJob Description

AAC is seeking a Systems Administrator for an exciting opportunity in downtown Columbia, SC. This position would require the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with at least 1 year of experience that is excited to troubleshoot IT issues in person as well as over the phone.

The first 6 months of this position would be fully onsite, Monday – Friday. Thereafter, you would receive 2 days remote per week. The proper candidate should be open to working any shift between the hours of 7 AM – 9 PM.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field; OR
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; OR
  • 2 years IT Help Desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment; OR
  • 2 years’ experience in Computer/IT operations/support in a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Excellent customer service in a phone support capacity
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory
  • Knowledge of SCCM
  • Knowledge of deployment and troubleshooting Microsoft Office including MS Outlook
  • Experience utilizing a ticketing system
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of the 7 layer OSI Model
