Love kids? Our lifeguards play an interactive role in keep our small people safe when entering, exiting and during our classes. Many lifeguards progress to become instructors.
Does being in the water brings a smile to your face? The opportunity to teach small people swimming skills may feel more like fun than work. At the Little Dolphin Swim Academy, we will pay to train you to teach in a joyous, systematic method that enriches not only our students but our staff as well.
We start with babies as young as eight weeks old and are happy to teach 80 year old folks as well. Our new, state of the art facility is clean, with fresh air and 88-degree water.We have year round, part-time (that may become full-time) positions, in our growing, cutting edge Swim Academy that is committed to excellence in instruction. Some experience in swim instruction or competitive swimming is preferred. We are located about 15 min from Rutgers/Middlesex CC, 10 min from RVCC, in Bridgewater/Bound Brook, NJ (at the intersection of 287 and Route 22).
Candidates to guard need to hold a current lifeguard certificate or attain one within four weeks of employment.
Candidates to teach start at a higher pay rate if they have a current lifeguard certificate.

- Since we re-opened LDSA in July of 2020 we have had 0 spread of C9 in our facility. Masks and face shields are p are provided to our staff. Strict policies are in place to keep everyone healthy.

Requirements:
- Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Certification to guard.
- Responsible to be prompt for assigned shifts.

Compensation:
- Training pay $13/hr, after written test passed, $13/hr.
- Starting instructor pay $15 (no lifeguard cert) $17 (we lg cert)-20/hr
- Supervisor $20/hr
- Lifeguard $13-14/hr
