Colony Park Animal Hospital is searching for a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team In addition to competitive pay and wonderful benefits, we also value your mental health and work-life balance. Our hours are 8:00-6:00-- Monday thru Friday and half a day on Saturday mornings.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist doctors in exam rooms
  • Obtain medical history and necessary samples for medical & wellness examinations
  • Enter medical history, lab results, prescriptions, procedures and client communications
  • Educate clients on basic pet car, prevention, medication instructions, wound care, etc
  • Prepare and perform laboratory tests, including ear slides, skin scrapes, fecal floats, etc
  • Take Digital Radiographs
  • Properly restrain pets
  • Fill prescription requests
  • Clean and stock all exam rooms, pharmacy and laboratory.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
