Position           :           Assembler 

Location         :           Tualatin, OR 97062

Duration         :           12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Shift                :           1st shift (6am-2.30pm)

Pay Rate : $21.00/hr. on W2

 

SUMMARY

The Assembler will be responsible for providing assembly support within Tualatin OR location. Including but not limited to the final assembly, inspection and testing of various product lines, PCB sub-assemblies, soldering (THM) using specialized hand and air tools, specific work instructions. With the main objective to provide a finished product on time and in adherence to client's quality standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Be able to work independently to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.

·       Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.

·       Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product

·       Be responsible for mechanical/electrical performance of completed assemblies and assist in making necessary adjustments to meet performance/quality goals.

·       Evaluates assembly problems, recommends corrective actions

·       Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions

·       Fosters an environment that promotes client's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.

·       Must be willing to work flexible schedule including overtime (extended shifts during the week and/or also weekend work) as needed
