Job DescriptionJob Description

Seeking college graduate minimum with strong analytical skills, excellent writing and interest in the law to provide assistance to immigration lawyers with preparation of employment-based immigration cases. While our firm works on many types of cases, one area of specialization is "O-1" nonimmigrant petitions for talented artists and performers. Individual must have strong academic background and/or work experience, and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a busy, smaller firm. This is a full-time, entry-level, salaried position. Spanish fluency preferred.

The Position: The immigration paralegal will provide direct support to our immigration team.

Duties will include:

 Assist immigration attorneys in all aspects of immigration legal representation for
qualified individuals;
 Respond to intake calls, emails, and letters from individuals seeking assistance;
 Meet with clients to gather documents, complete immigration forms, interview clients,
and draft client statements for attorney review;
 Translate letters and other documents;
 Write letters
 Prepare cases to file with government agencies (organize exhibits, copy, scan)
 Manage and coordinate calendar (tickle system)
