Hello,

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Assembler for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Chesapeake, VA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • Pay: $26
  • This is a first shift (7am-3:30pm) position, Monday-Friday.
  • Duties include but are not limited to, performing system and sub assembly level electronic component and small gauge wire builds.
  • Upgrades and repairs will be performed by following assembly instructions and working to Mil standard drawings.
  • Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists and connector pin outs of complex assemblies.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be familiar with soldering, crimping contacts, and mechanical assembly
  • Soldering experience a must have and preferably Solder Certifications.
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 Soldering Requirements is a plus.
