Mission

In this position you will be responsible for both facilities and plant management including economical operation of all facility equipment and infrastructure and overseeing the operation and management of our pilot plant.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Facilities Operations Manager role combines two aspects; therefore you will oversee our infrastructure systems, plan maintenance and upgrades, secure vendors, obtain quotes, and implement schedules, requiring a working knowledge of subsystems like HVAC, electrical distribution, process cooling water systems, and compressed air and gas distribution, all while operating with minimal supervision.

Moreover, you will ensure the successful scale-up of processes from the laboratory to production scale, demanding a deep understanding of the metal manufacturing value chain, process development, and project management, along with strong leadership and organizational skills to drive success.

Top Skills:

•       Understanding of infrastructure systems, plan maintenance and modifications

•       Have experience securing vendors, request quotes and implement schedules

•       Working knowledge of facility sub systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, process cooling water systems, compressed air and gas distribution systems is required

•       Experience in successful scale-up of processes from laboratory to production scale

•       Deep understanding of the metal manufacturing value chain, process development, and project management

•       Strong leadership and organizational skills
