A/V Engineer

Your Impact

The A/V Engineer will orchestrate and prioritize timely deployments of large A/V systems and equipment refresh projects in a variety of settings, (healthcare, corporate offices, hospitality and sports & entrainment venues).

A Glimpse of What You’ll Do Create detailed designs, bill of materials, proposals

  • Complete project deliverables per scope, budget and schedule commitments
  • Define and document standard installation guidelines of A/V equipment to meet customer needs
  • Conduct pre-install walkthroughs to identify potential issues
  • Facilitate improvements on installation processes
  • Perform systems cabling in accordance with diagrams
  • Read schematic diagrams and building drawings
  • Update and enforce best practices for installs and commissioning of systems
  • Document any project changes and communicates to team and Manager as needed
  • Train technical team on job requirements
  • Troubleshoot all A/V systems to satisfy client needs
  • Final commissioning and testing of A/V systems
  • Train clients on system functions and limitations
  • Maintain professionalism and quality decision making in high stress situations

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Technical certifications related to field, and/or equivalent technical knowledge
  • Two to four years’ experience in Audio/Visual Solutions, with knowledge of the design, installation and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems

 Additional Information

  • Full-time, days and hours of work may vary with flexibility for earlier or later hours based on the needs of the business
  • Some weekend work may be required
  • Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
  • 50% travel is expected
