Contract Attorney

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a contract attorney, which could eventually turn into a hired position. The goal is to grow the firm and you would be helping to make that happen.

Responsibilities:

• Be a collaborator
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

​​Qualifications:

• Active license with the California State Bar
• Previous experience in civil litigation is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with civil procedure is a plus, but not required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
