Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a commercial kitchen or foodservice environment.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

• High personal integrity, passion for success, capable of working within a small but collaborative team environment.

• Customer-focused with exceptional interpersonal skills with excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive inquiries or complaints.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and resolve issues.

• Strong multitasking abilities and meeting deadlines despite frequent interruptions. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent culinary certification.

• Prior experience in equipment demonstrations or sales.

• Familiarity with food holding and merchandising equipment.
