Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production Control Supervisor on the 2nd shift (4:30pm - finish of production) in Bardstown, Kentucky. This is a direct-hire position.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing shipping, receiving, inventory control and product delivery team members and team leads, to promote safety, cost reduction, efficiency, product quality, customer satisfaction, teamwork and morale.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise team members. Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and monitoring of performance
Coordinate and lead team to provide a reliable, quality and efficient delivery and production system
Evaluate and analyze problems with production
Experience coaching, counseling, and promoting a safe work environment
Train, coach and monitor team members to promote productivity and quality standards
Prepare reports and spreadsheets of information needed to monitor time, attendance, training records, machine problems and production records (Must be very computer literate)
Communicate effectively with all related departments and team members to keep them informed of production activities


Experience Needed:

Associates Degree in Industrial Management, Business or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 3 years of industrial experience/2 years in a leadership role
Automotive industry experience preferred
Ability to work overtime as needed
