Previous experience with Dentrix is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing
- Sealants placements and Dental impressions
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Take Full mouth x-rays ( Dexis /Dentrix system)
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including charting and documenting patient information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a RDH
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, is a PLUS
- Proficiency in dental records management and coding
- Familiarity with Dentrix dental software
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience with medical imaging techniques for oral health assessment
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a RDH
-Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, is a PLUS
- Current Dental hygiene license in the state of Virginia
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure that each patient receives personalized treatment and education on maintaining optimal oral health. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well with patients of all ages will contribute to the success of our practice.
Job Type: Per diem
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexibility work schedule
