Valor Outfitters is a leading provider of emergency vehicle services, dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of emergency responders through top-notch vehicle maintenance and repair. We are committed to excellence and seek a skilled Emergency Vehicle Technician to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time Emergency Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of emergency vehicles, including ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles. You will play a critical role in ensuring these vehicles are always in optimal working condition to support first responders in their crucial missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation of emergency vehicle specific parts
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and address issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Repair and replace parts as needed, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to address complex issues and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to emergency vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in emergency vehicle technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and maintenance software.
  • Ability to learn quickly 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and tools (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to bend, twist and perform physical demands
  • Capable of working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and automotive fluids.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
