Medical Front Desk Rockstar: Making the First Impression Last

Are you a friendly face with a calming presence? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and possess the empathy to navigate patient anxieties? We are seeking a compassionate and efficient Medical Front Desk rockstar to join our team and ensure a smooth patient experience from the very first hello.

In this role, you’ll be the warm welcome and organizational backbone of our practice:

Greet patients with a smile and positive attitude, creating a comfortable and calming atmosphere.

Efficiently schedule appointments via phone, walk-in, and online platforms, managing patient inquiries.

Process patient check-in/out procedures, collecting co-pays, updating medical records, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Triage patients and direct them to appropriate doctors or nurses, answering basic medical questions and providing clear instructions.

Manage the flow of patients and the reception area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Handle phone calls professionally, addressing patient concerns and relaying messages to providers efficiently.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues and maintaining a helpful attitude.

 To shine in this role, you’ll need:

High school diploma or equivalent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in a medical setting preferred, but willingness to learn is highly valued.

Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Empathy and a patient-centered approach to handle diverse patient needs and anxieties with compassion.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and protocols.

Professional demeanor and a commitment to upholding confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Must pass background check, TB test, Education verification and other pre-employment screening.
