Job DescriptionJob Description

A small animal/exotic veterinary clinic in Watertown SD is looking for a full-time veterinary technician to join our team.

We are seeking a highly motivated team member with a passion for the animal community, who can provide excellent client and patient care. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality along with exceptional communication, telephone, and computer skills. Must be a team player, organized, multi-task oriented, energetic and possess a positive and professional attitude. Experience working in a fast paced veterinary clinic preferred.

Veterinary Technician Duties include:

·         Client check-in/out

·         Triage

·         Blood draws, IV catheterization 

·         Cystocentesis

·         Radiology and In-house lab work

·         Anesthesia monitoring and Surgical assisting

·         Performing dental procedures

·         Medication administration

·         Patient monitoring

·         Animal restraint/handling

·         Client education
