Cannabis Trimmer

Trimmers demonstrate proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail. Trimmer
must be resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team. Responsible for the
efficiency and quality of the marijuana plant trimming in preparation for sale.
Responsibilities:
● Perform duties under direction from the Director of Cultivation.
● Efficiently trims and de-fans plants (wet trim).
● Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all wet trim weights.
● Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness while performing trimmings.
● Trimming off buds from dried plants.
● Trimming buds by hand and running through the trim machine as needed.
● Weighing and recording all product as needed in compliance with METRC
● Responsible for maintaining quality products.
● May be assigned other job duties as necessary.
● Operate with integrity and honesty.
● Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of
operations within the company.
● Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas.
Complete side tasks and medicine processing projects.
Maintaining the upmost cleanliness and organized work environment within the
trimming room.
Observing all required PPE requirements while trimming Cannabis
- Effectively trim plants
- Maintaining accurate trim logs
- Maintaining accurate weight logs
- Occasionally required to trim plants off sticks once plant is dried.
Sorting different strains of cannabis
- Handling, transporting, and disposing of waste materials and accurately documenting all
waste.
● • Assisting with any other tasks or responsibilities that are assigned to you by the Team
Lead and/or Packaging Supervisor
Required Skills
● High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
● Excellent computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills.
● Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis.
● Familiarity with warehouse procedures.
● Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
● At least 21 years of age
● Demonstrated passion for serving the cannabis community.
● Ability to work within a team and without.
● Must be able to pass a background check.
● Organization and planning skills
● Ability to build relationships
● Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
● Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.50
