Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Summary

Guided by our principals of Mutual Respect, Trust, Teamwork, Communication, and Responsibility, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of picking, packing, and movement of all products within the warehouse, freezer, cooler and dry goods. This person must be able to multitask, provide quick responses/solutions to unforeseen warehouse problems, and must always exhibit a professional, efficient demeanor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain material handing equipment by completing pre-use inspection
  • Prepare finished orders by identifying, prepare Label cartons, and Pallets for shipment to customers
  • Prepare labels and receive incoming product for storage in freezer and cooler
  • Prepare, pull, and stage product for daily processing
  • Move and Transfer product as necessary with electric pallet jack or forklift
  • Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on truck; moves pallet to production locations.
  • Uses scan gun and/or TI Station to complete all inventory transactions
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
  • Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations
  • Follows all safety guidelines; Reports any work-related injuries to HR as soon as possible (no later than 24 hours); Monitors warehouse for any safety hazards and reports issues to Warehouse Manager and/or HR
  • Accountable to fill out paperwork timely and correctly throughout the shift
  • Answers radio requests; Responds to questions and solves problems
  • Informs Warehouse Manager of whereabouts, attendance, and activities; Proactively identifies problems and potential problems, and offers possible solutions
  • Shows respect and sensitivity toward cultural differences; Promotes a harassment and discrimination free environment
  • Adheres to ACM Policies and Procedures; Upholds and supports ACM’s organizational goals and values
  • Complies with all USDA guidelines for shipping and receiving.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimal High School or GED
  • 1-year experience in warehouse
  • 6 months electric pallet jack and/or standup forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience with Meat Processing
  • USDA Trained
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
