TAX MANAGER (Business and Individual Tax)

Who We Are: We are a bookkeeping, accounting, tax and consulting firm located in Doylestown, PA. We provide our services both onsite and virtually for clients of all different sizes in a wide variety of industries. Our comprehensive financial services allow our clients to focus on what they do best - managing and growing their business.

Skills and Qualifications for this position:

ü Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

ü CPA License Preferred

ü Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a public tax accountant type role

ü Experience with both Individual and Business Tax Return Preparation

ü Proficient Knowledge of Internal Revenue Code

ü Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel

ü Experience with Various types of Tax Software (Ultra Tax, Drake, etc.)

ü Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online a plus

ü Ability to work with multiple clients, manage deadlines and projects, often simultaneously

ü Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented

Expectations of the Role: Our tax managers have a variety of responsibilities for multiple client engagements that include but are not limited to:

ü Preparing and reviewing Federal, State and Local income tax returns individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts and non-profit entities.

ü Developing comprehensive knowledge of client’s business and tax circumstances

ü Creating year-round tax planning projections and strategies to meet client needs

ü Mentoring junior staff and interns
