Title: Shipfitter 

Location: Jacksonville FL 

Shift:

  • NIGHT SHIFT 4:30pm-2:45am Mon – Fri
  • DAY SHIFT- 7am-4pm Mon-Fri
  • No cap on overtime 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of shipfitting experience
  • Experience working on structural repairs with steel and aluminum
  • Clean background, ability to pass a drug test
  • Reliable transportation

Day to day:

  • Lay out and fit steel and aluminum
  • Straighten, drill and ream materials
  • Set up and lay out materials to be welded
  • Repair and rework ship parts
  • Cutting steel and aluminum
  • Shaping and cutting pieces to be welded
