• Summary:

1. Completing high-quality grooms in a timely fashion

2. Adhering to clients instructions of pet styling

3. Ability to groom dogs in breed specific styles (more than just shave downs)

4. Keeping a clean/sanitized station & grooming tools; completing daily opening/closing tasks

5. Providing exceptional client experiences

6. Special precautions for puppies, aged, and disabled pets

7. Adherence to safety policies and procedures

8. Maintaining pet records by documenting/reporting any information regarding a pet/services

9. Immediate response in line with policies and procedures in the case of a pet emergency

10. MUST be reliable and responsible

• Qualifications/Education

  • Required: 2+ years of pet grooming experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Preferred: Pet Grooming certification/course completion. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• Special Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision and/or delegation

  • Ability to work under stress and with highly anxious pets

  • Reliable scheduling

  • Enthusiastic and hard-working personality

• Schedule

  • 4-8 hour shift

• Pay - Range estimate provided is based on number of pets groomed per month
