Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Salt Lake City UT 84104

NIGHT (PM) ORDER FILLER

Schedule: Sunday, 3pm until completion (12 hour day); Monday - Thursday 4pm until completion

 

Manager Highlights:

• Fast pace environment

• Long hours on feet, bending, reaching, twisting, walking

• RF Scanner and Klever Kutter to break down pallets and stock shelves with product

• Will push/pull a cart of product throughout the warehouse to stock shelves

• Product will weigh no more than 30 pounds on average

• Will work with trainer first couple of days

• Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate

 

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

Putting away cases and helping pick orders; could also be asked to assist with order fulfillment, stocking and replenishment, and outbound shipping of customer orders. Performs related duties as assigned. MANUAL (BY HAND) PICKING

If a fully automated, PkMS enabled environment, must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system in order to perform daily tasks.

Accurately fills orders verifying quantity, size, strength, and NDC numbers.

Checks each order after the order picking process is complete to ensure the product is placed and packed appropriate to prevent damage during transit; repacks orders when necessary following quality standards and procedures.

Carefully places merchandise containers on conveyors as requested, ensuring the route information is visible.

Verifies totes, cases, and paperwork are accurate prior to delivery.

Promptly retrieves merchandise from floors, shelves and from conveyor.

Carefully and securely wraps breakable items in protective covering as requested.

Assists with stocking shelves as requested.

Assists with inventory procedures as requested.

Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.

Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.

Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.

Have a good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance

Ability to operate in a production-driven environment and perform at a level that is 95% or greater of engineered standards.

Physical activity requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent is desired. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.
