we are seeking a Deck Foreman to be responsible for overseeing and coordinating deck operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deck management within the energy sector, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Deck Foreman Responsibilities
  • Supervise deck activities on offshore platforms or vessels, including rigging, lifting, loading, and offloading operations
  • Lead and manage a team of deck crew members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
  • Coordinate deck operations with other departments, such as drilling, marine, and production, to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with operational plans
  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks with deck crew members to promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations
  • Inspect and maintain deck equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety standards
  • Participate in pre-job safety meetings and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures to mitigate risks
  • Monitor weather and sea conditions, adjusting deck operations as necessary to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment
  • Collaborate with client representatives and third-party contractors to coordinate deck activities and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to deck operations, including equipment inspections, incident reports, and daily activity logs
