Job Overview:

In this role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical and devices as required. You must retain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Residential experience required
  • Able to troubleshoot: Runs tests on generators and other backup systems.
  • Run inspections in neighborhoods.
  • Must be able to do hot checks, QC House, and get with the crews.
  • Teach helpers how to wire, box, read blueprints, etc.
  • QC House
  • Keep up with neighborhoods.
  • Using Bolt software, keeping up with daily updates.
  • Speak with builders, etc.
  • Interprets technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots faulty wiring.
  • Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards.
  • Checks for and deploy upgrades of electrical components.
  • Documents problems and prepares reports.
  • Facilitates order of needed electrical components.
