Upper Frederick Township (population 3,500), Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced leader to serve as its full-time Township Manager. The Township Manager reports to a three-member Board of Supervisors, has the authority to direct and supervise all day­ to-day operations of the government, and serves as a central point of contact among the Board,

Staff consisting of 5 employees, and the community. The Township Manager administers an annual budget of $4 million, and oversees all aspects of the Township, including Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Engineering, Planning/Zoning and Code Enforcement.

Candidates should have: (a) municipal management experience; (b) knowledge of modern local government management principles, practices, innovations and programs; (c) Minimum of 3 years of municipal experience; (d) at least a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent); and, (e) excellent communications skills, decision making and problem-solving skills.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The position includes benefits.

The Manager does not need to reside within Upper Frederick Township but is required to attend all Township Meetings.
