Medical Assistant

Our practice is growing and we are adding two full-time medical assistants to our team Berkley and Rochester are satellite offices and share one staff that goes between the two offices. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and great work ethic.

Duties:

• Triage the patients by thoroughly completing the patients vitals, reconciling medications and history, and perform an EKG
• Assist physicians/mid-levels while they see the patients including transcribing data
• Create orders and fill out billing slips
• Create and refill prescriptions as per office protocols
• Complete medical forms such as FMLA, Disability, and orders
• Chart prep prior to visits to ensure easy wrokflow while seeing patients
• Answer calls and communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals
• Other misc. duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail and is organized

The schedule is as follows:

Mondays: Rochester

Tuesdays: Berkley

Wednesdays: Berkley

Thursdays: Rotates both location every other week

Fridays: Berkley
