Desired Skills/Experience:

Please note: a recent-current MicroSoft Azure Administrator certification is required

  • Experience administering SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, and permissions alongside experience Configuring and troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues including integration with O365
  • Experience creating and Managing Azure VM’s including related virtual-cloud-azure storage, security and networking
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD including experience with Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) administration
  • Management of Active Directory/M365/Azure including, but not limited to, user accounts, security groups, e-mail accounts, distribution groups, hybrid Exchange, MFA, Security Policies, printers, Group Policy, OneDrive, Intune, and Autopilot. Administration of multiple tenants, migrations, and tenant consolidations.
  • Experience administering Office 365 (O365 Office365) Services including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange and the MS Office suite
  • Past or current Cisco Switch and Router configuration/installation experience and experience with other WAN-Hardware-Infrastructure such as cabling, server rack+stack, etc. (‘we use these during special project situations only’)
  • Experience implementing site to site VPN and virtual server infrastructures, including user-permissions, adherence to company BYOD policy, overall VPN setup-install-management-settings experience.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration including RAID, clustering, virtualization, TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNS; must be able to administer on-premise Windows Servers as we are still transitioning to a fully cloud based infrastructure.
  • Past or current experience with SAN-NAS tape backup type systems which are still in use as we are transitioning to a fully cloud based infrastructure.
  • Willingness to support end-users; Experience working in a similar role where (in addition to Windows/Azure administration) you have also supported end-users when needed.

Pluses:

  • Experience Creating documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users and other I.T. team members.
  • Experience managing SQL Server on prem or Azure SQL (from a systems admin standpoint)
  • Python or Windows Powershell or VBScript or Windows Batch Scripting
