Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, and/or manufacturing engineering. This role involves performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventative actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing data, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaborating with the maintenance team to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of capital projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline processes and drive operational excellence.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes and identify areas for further improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring best practices are followed and quality standards are met.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance engineering processes and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in creating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production.
- Hands-on experience with capital project planning and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
