Job DescriptionJob Description

National Company is seeking an experienced customer service and ocean freight clerk/assistant who is known for its leadership in the industry. We have been in business for over 20 years and continue to grow. We create and distribute flooring across the country that meets the demands of our clients.

Responsibilities and Skills:

- knowledge of ocean logistics and trucking. -

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation providers.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement.

- Coordinate and prepare the necessary documentation and custom forms for the efficient and lawful execution of all import/export activities.

- Input data into ERP and Tracking Program

- Communicate with customers regarding their order status

- Work with the overseas team to coordinate the shipment of orders

- Assist with bookings with our Freight Forwarder

-Work with truckers to pick up containers at the ports

- Proficient in MS office programs

-Self-Driven & detail-oriented with outstanding organization skills

-Ability to multi -task and operate in highly pressurized environment
