Job Summary

As a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of IT issues. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

·         Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and effective technical support via phone and email.

·         Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to higher-level support as necessary.

·         Document all client interactions and technical procedures in our ticketing system.

·         Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

·         Perform routine maintenance and updates on client systems to ensure optimal performance.

·         Educate clients on best practices for IT security and system use.

·         Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues.

·         Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications

·         Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, preferably in a managed service provider environment.

·         Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common software applications.

·         Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

·         Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

·         Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
