Molding Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Weymouth, MA
Pay is up to $21.00/hourly

Job Summary:

Operate multiple thermo set molding machines and deflashing equipment.

Essential Functions:

•Prepare, adjust, and operate multiple molding machines.

•Conduct first piece inspection to ensure drawing specifications are met and complete the product

attribute sheet. SPC data inspections.

•Must be forklift certified.

•Maintain a production log of completed piece parts, separate parts and packages complete for

shipping to the next phase of operation using fork or pallet truck.

•Dispose of scrap material to proper location.

•Always ensure the highest quality and maintain a safe and clean work area.

•Perform daily maintenance on equipment.

•Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Perform as operator in other areas as needed.

This position requires a level of knowledge usually associated with a High School diploma with

three months to one year of plastic molding experience.

Training requirements:

•General Safety

•Quality System Awareness

•Hazardous waste handling and control

Physical demands:

•Required to sit, stand, bend, and lift to 60 lbs.

Work environments:

•Combination of Manufacturing and Office environment

•Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and odors
