Cafe Supervisor

Job Description

1. Keep the Café area clean and safe. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
2. Keep all tables and seating areas clean and presentable.
3. Able to follow policy and protocols for cash register handling. Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift.
4. Greet every customer with a smile and fun, positive attitude.
5. Deliver only quality food
6. Keep station stocked and clean throughout the shift
7. Portion food products prior to cooking
8. Knows the menu and is fully capable of preparing any item
9. Knowledge of all the policies of the center and can accurately explain them to any customer
10. Knowledge of employee policies. Report any violations to Site Manager and encourage peers to abide by those policies
11. Train all new cafe staff on the cash register and food handling
12. Keep inventory of all cafe items and place weekly orders as needed
13. Manage employees in the cafe and report to the Site Manager with any concerns

Education Requirements

• Cash register experience preferred 
• Food industry experience preferred
• Food Handler's Permit
