Hire Connections is working with a statewide known property management company in search of a full-time Property Manager with 5+ years of management experience. Our client develops, builds, and manages their own properties and they are growing fast with many opportunities for advancement and change within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Management

·         Daily operations of the property including staff supervision, coordination and oversight of the maintenance team, and all administrative duties for yourself and your team.

·         Hires/terminates, trains, supervises, evaluates, and manages all onsite staff. Including performing annual performance reviews.

·         Ensures a positive customer service experience is met with all incoming prospects and residents.

·         Clearly communicate the goals and objectives of the ownership to your staff.

·         Provides a positive working environment for all staff.

·         Motivate while coaching.

·         Ensure the maintenance teams are responding to all after-hours calls.

·         On-call duties in cases of emergency and must ensure they are taken care

Operations

·         Acts as a first line of communication with residents, ensuring their needs are understood and met.

·         Resident relations and retention

·         Review tenant applications for eligibility.

·         Maintain daily interest list and ensure all incoming leads are followed up on by leasing staff.

·         Property accounting

·         Maintain office files for all business and financial records.

·         Promptly and professionally respond to emails and phone messages.

·         Able to manage more than one large project is important in this role.

·         Follow-up with marketing efforts made by the marketing department to achieve five-star reviews.

·         Must be able to attend resident events when planned.

Minimum Qualifications are:

·         5 years’ experience in Property Management

·         Knowledge of Fair Housing, State Landlord rights and obligations

·         .2 years’ experience in property accounting

·         Proven experience in building and maintaining positive and supportive employee and resident relationships.  

·         Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbal communication.

·         ResMan software experience preferred, must have knowledge in similar property management software.
