Baking Technician

Join a Baking client of ours in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry located in the Columbus area.

Looking for a lover of science and a lover of baking

Pay: $23-$28/hr
Shift: M-F 1st (7-3:30p)
Type: Contract to hire

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field 
• Strong passion for science and creative problem solving.
• Strong passion for food and baking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and constantly evolving high growth environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing projects involving product improvement, cost reduction, GMP compliance, food safety,
  and employee safety.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.
• Develop or replicate products/flavors for customer requests.
• Weighing, Mixing, Cooking, Baking
• Maintain strong documentation of recipes, activities, and analytical results.
