Air Logic Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Logic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing air logic systems and have a strong understanding of pneumatic control systems. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in General Motors (GM) hardware design and EPLAN software to support other design projects as needed. This role involves the design, development, and implementation of air logic circuits and components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop air logic systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Create detailed schematics and blueprints for air logic circuits.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate air logic systems into larger automation processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of air logic systems to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Optimize air logic designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on air logic systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in pneumatic technology.
  • Support GM hardware design projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize EPLAN software for electrical planning, design, and documentation.
  • Assist with various hardware design tasks to support overall project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in air logic design and pneumatic control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing and drafting air logic circuits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in GM hardware design and familiarity with EPLAN software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
