  • Please note that this position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with doubles endorsement. We are also seeking lead drivers as well that want to progress to driving gravel trains

 
Pay Rate: $28.75/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The primary responsibility of this position requires safely driving a tractor-trailer for the transportation of gravel and other materials, attention to safe loading and unloading at a variety of job sites, and maintaining a clean truck both inside and out
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
  • Handle and maneuver truck controls for safe loading and unloading of material
  • Communicate with onsite personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
  • Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
  • Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
  • Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees, as well as customers
  • Perform other duties as needed
