Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Full Time, evening shift
ASCP or AMT Certified or Eligible Within 6 months of hire required
*$15,000 Sign on Bonus offered for 2-year commitment, paid in full after 90 days of employment

MLee Healthcare has been engaged by our trusted client to recruit for an exciting opportunity: Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist generalist for their hospital laboratory

2nd shift / evenings 2:30pm - 11:00pm
*Evening shift differential offered

Medical Laboratory Scientist MLT / MLS Job Summary

A MT/MLS performs laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Assists in collection, processing, and analysis of test ordered by a physician. Responsible for QC, calibration and all instrument maintenance. Medical Technologists are able to recognize interdependency of tests and have knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results which is used by the physician to determine the presence, extent, and possibly the cause of disease.

Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science with ASCP or AMT Certification preferred
• Registry eligible to be completed within six (6) months of employment
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Once these yearly deductibles are met, all services are covered at 100% Our client also has great retirement/pension benefits. If you put in 3% of your wages after a year of service and 1000 hours worked, you’d be eligible for an additional 3% and match 1.5% of your contributions for a total of 7.5%.
