Billing Specialist

Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders is seeking a Full-Time Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of medical billing experience and be highly organized and attentive to detail. Experience with Physicians' billing and DME is a plus.

Job Responsibilities include processing, monitoring, and collecting Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial insurance claims, as well as patient balances in accordance with payer requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for importing/posting payments from all payer types, generating reports as needed, and following up on overdue accounts for collections and adjustments for billing errors.

The pay for this position is $18.00−$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. The candidate must pass a drug screen and background check. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in medical billing. Proficiency in English is required.
