Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily operations: Ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
  • Staff management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including servers, cooks, and cleaning staff.
  • Customer service: Ensure high-quality customer service standards are maintained, handle customer complaints or issues effectively, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory management: Monitor and order supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure proper storage of food and beverages.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations: Ensure the restaurant meets all health and safety standards and regulations, including food safety protocols.
  • Administrative tasks: Handle paperwork, such as payroll, scheduling, and ordering supplies, and maintain records related to the restaurant's operations.
  • Problem-solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise, such as equipment malfunctions, staffing issues, or customer complaints, in a timely and effective manner.
