Our growing high tech endodontic dental practice - located in the city of Atlanta, GA - is
currently interviewing and accepting applications to join our team.


Position: Dynamic Dental Assistant / Front Office with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in
the dental field - front and/or back.


Competitive hourly rate based on dental experience and knowledge.


Job Responsibilities:
Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with patient care, taking
radiographs, sterilizing instruments, material organization and inventory, and assisting with the
full suite of endodontic procedures including root canals, retreatments, and apicoectomy
surgery in compliance with the dental practice act.
This job also entails some front office duties such as answering calls and verifying insurance.
The practice includes latest in communication technology making it easy to perform routine
front desk tasks such as answering phones and communicating with referrals. We make
insurance filing and processing so easy anyone can learn. We make endo fun
Dental Assisting:
- Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping
patient.
- Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
- Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area;
positioning instruments for dentist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments

- Provides diagnostic information by exposing radiographs.
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification
and assisting with emergency drug and oxygen supply.
- Educates patients by giving post-operative instructions.
- Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules,
and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;
calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and
techniques.

- Conserves dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish
job results.
Front Office:
- Greeting patients and answering phones
- Scheduling appointments and building a productive schedule
- Verifying and filing insurance claims
- Check in, check out, and collections
- Explaining financing options to patients
- Following up on unscheduled treatments
- Communication with referring dentists and their staff
