HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Monday - Friday
Position Type: Direct Hire or Contract to Hire
Hourly / Salary: Based on experience
Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY

Our client is looking for a Machine Shop Deburr Operator to join their team in their brand new facility

Job Description:

Under general supervision, an employee performs routine deburring and miscellaneous machine shop duties requiring little job knowledge, skill, or discretion in selecting work methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs regular factory work such as deburring, parts cleaning, and honing.
• Deburrs parts using vibration and tumbler deburring equipment.
• Could require operating a bandsaw.
• Performs regular manual tasks.
• Ensures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected.
• Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work.
• Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards.
• Accomplishes production quotas.
• Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required.
• Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner.
• Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of deburring methods.
• Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently remove burrs from parts utilizing vibrating and tumbling deburring equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to work with a number sequence.
• Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions.
• Be team-oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability.

Experience:

• 6 months prior machine shop experience

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
