Front Desk Associate

Responsibilities & Duties:
Under general supervision, the Front Desk Associate performs general clerical and administrative tasks that assist the office achieve its operational goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of office experience, 6 months of which must be related to the functional area, or equivalent. Completion of related office or business certificate program may be substituted for one year of required office experience. Ex: Microsoft, Quickbooks, Etc.……..
Greets visitors, handles their inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate person.
Confirms, schedules and coordinates appointments.
Answering incoming telephone calls; assisting callers as needed and/or transferring them to the appropriate parties.
Light housekeeping duties (lobby, front desk and hall way).
Maintains records, enters data and retrieves data as needed. Files and retrieves documents, records and reports. Schedule and confirm EFTPS Payments (employee lability payments).
Prepares and enters data into the financial system to record. Including preparing any data transmission files related to the payment process and distribution on annual W9, 1099, W4, W2, 940’s, 941’s and Sales Tax reporting.
Take office payments for services
1. Establish and maintain payroll and time & attendance records.
2. Answering employee payroll-related questions, time and attendance, payroll deductions, tax withholding, direct deposit.
3. Reconciles various general ledger accounts. (10-15 Accounts)
4. Perform the full range of recordkeeping and payroll processing activities.
- Responsible for providing assistance to customers in person and/or over the phone regarding tax issues. Duties include: Reviewing various documents and making necessary changes, collecting payments from customers and keeping daily records of receivables, maintaining various records and files.
-Minimal tax preparation for individuals or small businesses. Interview to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances. Interview clients to gather financial information. Scan client’s original documentation into tax preparation system.
